At long last! Just in time for its 21st anniversary.
A couple of years ago, I worked on making an easy way to install Lode Runner Mad Monks Revenge on modern systems. These updates were popular, but there were some technical limitations that prevented the full operation on Windows 8.1 and 8, and to a limited extent Windows 7 as well. Technical details aside (it was due to the addition of the desktop composition), the good news is:
LODE RUNNER MMR IS FULLY OPERATIONAL ON WINDOWS 10! (Sorry, I’m just so excited).
No more saving or loading bugs! The replacement interface is somewhat gimmicky (you can only select save file locations, not names), but overall it is functional.
